What's all the hype?

So it is Halloween...

Maybe I have just got old but when I was a kid it was about dressing up and getting candy. I don't remember it to be demonic... but it seems like more things are these days.

The last time I went to rent a movie, it was 80% horror flicks from murder, demonic possession to outright gore.

What happened to the scary movies that were more humor...? More so, what happened to comedy?

These are the classics. These are the ones that stand the test of time! (pictures from Young Frankenstein)

These movies you can watch without having nightmares for a month, needing to sleep with the light on, developing a new phobia or needing psychiatric help after watching.

So with that little tirade, enjoy your holiday!
Stay safe and don't eat too much candy.
....and ....
....if your blue and you don't know where to go to why don't you go where fashion sits; Puttin' on the Ritz.

Movie Critic

The movie was cute and I liked it. It is a fairy tale with modern humor and an all-star cast.

But what I was most excited about is the scene where they were riding the horses on the hill and I jumped to my feet and exclaimed "Guiness Lake!" I've been there. In fact, that very hill....
Granted, it is much colder here and not as green. Ireland is beautiful and I had a great time visiting. Just next time, I am going in the summer.
Happy St. Patricks day! ~ Don't forget to don green!

New favorite

I just saw the movie "Facing the Giants"

WOW!!!! I don't think I cried this much in Steel Magnolias and I cried all the time in that one (though for completely different reasons)!
I have got to go out and buy this movie and watch it every day.

First (and in no paticular order), it is about football, and I love football!

Second, it is about our Almighty Father, and Lord knows I love Him!!!

Talk about a great underdog story and giving God the Glory... this was 2 thumbs up and 2 big toes too!!!!
